Acculturation is by definition when one culture tries to assimilate them selves in to another culture, there are four types of acculturation being 1. Assimilation where the people trying to adapt in to one culture fully adapt in to it with no regard for their past culture, an example of this could be when someone came over to America because they didn't like the culture over in the place that they lived before 2. Separation this one is not really acculturation separation is when people don't try to adapt in to a culture and they still have firm roots in their original culture, an example of this could be when someone was forced to relocate some where away from where they had made a life so they don't try to adapt to the culture there 3. Marginalization this is when people trying to adapt to another culture either don't prefer or have deep roots in either culture this is what I interpret as most teenagers typically they don't like their place where they came from or they just wont admit it so when they move they don't try to adapt 4. Integration this is where the people adapting to another culture have deep roots in their original culture and have a wanting to adapt to the new culture, examples can be people who come from across the seas to the United States have lived a good solid life there and are ready for a new adventure.
Culture by definition is the accumulation of ideas from a plethora of people and cultures exist all over the world if there is a spot of people then there's a culture in that spot it will probably be simpler the fewer the people but the more people that their are the more diverse the culture is examples can be something like the Egyptians where they had a written language and an entire religion with many different gods.
