Why English Speakers Find it Hard to Learn Foreign Languages-Andres Yengle

Why is it so Hard to Learn a New Language

Even though learning a new language is hard enough by just having to learn a whole new way of communicating. It's even harder for English learners because of many reasons such as objects have genders while in Spanish there's only two. While other languages can have even more genders. Another reason is that in English articles don't have feminine or masculine versions it's just the. Also in other languages, there can be different ways of saying you like one is formal and one is informal that you can use with your friends.
I thought it was very interesting how intricate some languages are. English seemed to have gotten lazy over time, but still very confusing to other people. In other languages there are many different versions of words like present past future also there can be different moods. It's also very weird that some of these things we used to in the past but I guess people got tired of it or just didn't want to use those terms. I think another reason people stopped using so many words is that it was easier for grammar purposes and printing purposes. I can kind of relate because when I first started to learn Spanish I found it very confusing that inanimate objects had genders and there were so many versions for one word. Also how there are two ways to say "you" it took me some time to remember that. Yes, I did some research on all different verb forms in Spanish. I did this research because I wanted to know-how Spanish had a whopping 51 different verb forms.
