interview - 2

This interview I conducted with a doctor who has his own practice. The interview gave me some insight to the medical fields stand point on it. He says that he does understand the medical benefits of it and that he wouldn't prescribe it if it were legal he doesn't think that it can be extremely helpful to people who are in pain the only case in which he would prescribe it would be in the case that the person has seizures and that some seizures only pot can stop them and ease the pain of it he also says that the effects of its ability to ease pain is greatly exaggerated but he says that the effects of it are on people who have health problems but also smoking it he doesn't think is the best way to get the effect of the pot and other ways might be better suited for getting the effect of it he also pointed out that there may be other side effects that we are not aware of yet so there may have to be testing which is not legal in some parts of the United States. He also believes that it could be sold over the counter. He also doesn't know how helpful it would actually be to the patient. He also has the belief that it is like a starter so that people will try harder drugs in the future. He also states that it does make people tend to become less energetic and start to lack motivation to do anything so he is against recreational usage of pot.
