Thoughts of Engagement

For my second part of my Challenge Project I was thinking of doing a info-graph with half containing statistics about abortion and the other half with information on what the Lilith Fund is and how to contact them. Because I don't have a printer big enough to print that many info-graphs, I was thinking of asking a teacher, most likely Mr. Roddy, to help me get this info-graph onto the online school newspaper or somewhere on the Post Oak website so that I can raise awareness about this issue within the Post Oak Community as well as give them a resource for abortion if they or a friend would need it.

I think this is a smart plan because it will raise awareness towards this issue within the Post Oak Community as well as give them some fun facts about abortion that are good to know. It could also help people decide whether they are pro-choice or pro-life after seeing some realistic and truthful statistics. Also I think that the Lilith Fund is a very great non-profit organization that helps women who can't pay for abortions. I think that they should be recognized for their hard work as well as advertised as a safe and trustworthy organization to go to for abortion help. Unlike many abortion clinics within Texas that are actually just trying to stop women from getting abortions. Fortunately, the issue of abortion isn't one that is as affected from COVID19 because an abortion is a medical procedure taken place in clinics meaning that abortion clinics will still be open at this time.

Andreas Cantu Mr. Roddy IHSS 12 April 2020 Chinese Immigration  Between the years 1845 and 1855 the US saw a massive influx of chinese immigrants. This was due to the gold rush in California. Chinese immigrants would leave the friends and family in search of a better life with more opportunities in America, and gold rush gave them their best shot at making it big in America. Although they had hopes to join the gold mining most of them took jobs with coal mining companies for little to no commision. Thoughts on Engagement

After doing the research for my challenge project on kill and no kill animal shelters, I have decided that I want to find a way to educate people on the internet without stating any form of opinion in order to be informative without being offensive. What I want to do is make a website that will have information both good and bad on kill and no kill animal shelters in an effort to educate the public on the matter. many people will for blind opinions on specifically kill shelters as they don't do the research and end up attacking people without any information on the matter.
