Acculturation is the cultural adjustment of a person or group of people who accommodate
behaviors, values and customs from other cultures. This is caused when strange activity spread on the traditional culture causing the new norms to be adapted to the culture. For example The japanese culture decided to adapt the western clothing style. Japan kimonos are and were very stylish but now the japanese are beginning to adapt to the western clothing to dress more modern. For example, they are now wearing: jeans, t-shirts, dresses, suits rather than (traditional kimonos).
Enculturation is the procedure of understanding and learning the dynamics of the culture surrounding you. Such as learning the language and values of your own culture. Your childhood is the most difficult moment of enculturation because that is when you are first learning how to be alive. For example, when a child is born but then move to a different country than the place of origin, they grow up to learn about the customs and traditions of the culture of that country rather than the previous country. They can learn about the music, food, language, costumes, festivals and celebrations. This way they are understanding the dynamics of the culture surrounding them as they grow. Which allows them to adapt to this new culture letting them understand how the culture is in a different country.
