Softer More processed foods affect the way our teeth form

In the article I read, It talked about how with the rise of agriculture and new ingredients in our food like a flower our teeth began to not fully form like they would with a tougher diet. It also showed pictures of what our teeth should look like with a diet of tougher unprocessed foods. The pictures showed that when we eat tougher foods our teeth become naturally straight by adulthood but with the beginning of processed foods they began to not form completely and they would become crooked and askew. I had already known some of these things plus some others about how our skulls formed over time. Also how our teeth evolved, I knew that when early humans began to cook their food over a fire. they began to not need large canines and they developed shorter duller teeth. As well as a change to their teeth early humans also experienced a change to the back of their skull space where their brain was beginning to get bigger and their jaws also became more upright instead of coming out in front of their faces. I'm sure that there are also more studies going on today about the way that junk food and the chemicals they put in them affect our teeth and jawline those studies may be helpful to future generations to know how to take care of their teeth better than the generations past and as we evolve into the next version of homo sapiens we will be able to look back on homo sapiens and discover what is new about our skull shapes and the way our teeth form.
