Analysis between

Females usually think that there is more gender discrimination in the workplace than men do. The survey was split evenly between men and women, 68 women took our survey and 51 men took our survey. This played a huge role in the responses about gender inequality. The majority of the people who took our survey were college-age students between 18 and 25 or parents between the age of 46 and 55, this gives a wide range of ages and opinions. More than half of the responses to race were white/caucasian and the other large bits were Latinos and Asian, this as well gives a wide range of opinions within race and cultural beliefs. Almost everyone who took our survey voted or planned on voting but I do not think the few people who did not vote affected the results a lot. The majority of the voters affiliate with democrats which I believe affected the results a lot since they have different views and 24 were republicans, there were also a few people in smaller party affiliations. There was a large variety for education level but the majority have a bachelor's degree this shows that most of our voters were well educated and most likely had lots of context. 18 people believed that there is 100% inequality in workplaces, 56 people said that there is a lot of inequality, 38 people said there is some inequality, and 13 said there is no inequality. I think that gender took a huge role in this question and that the majority of the women agreed that there is gender inequality and most of the men did as well. I do not think that any woman disagreed with this question. The majority of people said that it is positive that women are rising and 7 people said it is negative. Not only do I think gender played a huge part in this but also the party affiliation. Most Democrats believe that it is positive for women to be rising. Almost everyone said that women should not have to pay more than men for comparable products but 4 people said that they should. Personally, I think that age, gender, race, education, and party affiliation fits into this and I think that it is very difficult to say that women should pay more than men. It is interesting how for these four responses three of them skipped multiple questions on the survey.

I think that the process of writing the survey questions was very productive and we were able to get a large variety of questions. The work was also given out throughout a few weeks which was very helpful and gave us time to think, and working in groups also was helpful to get more ideas and opinions. The way we gave out the survey was good and gave us quality responses. During covid, it was more difficult to give out the survey, but I think social media and parent workplaces were beneficial for getting more responses. I also think that because our school is very diverse and we all gave out the survey we got a very diverse group of people which gave us equal responses.
